Antonio, a law professor in Bogotá, complicates his life when he befriends Ricardo Laverde, a man with a dark past. One day, Antonio and Ricardo are attacked on the street and Ricardo dies while Antonio becomes traumatized and obsessed with trying to understand Ricardo's life.
